RIVER TEME
The beautiful River Teme flows eastwards from its source to the River Severn just south of Worcester. On its way it passes through just three towns: Knighton, Ludlow and Tenbury Wells. The river through Ludlow is very picturesque, tumbling over a series of weirs beneath the town on one side, and the steep-sided, tree-covered Whitcliffe on the other, overlooked by the ruined castle and tall church tower. This remote and exceptionally beautiful river valley is rich in wildlife, history and heritage.
